The Story of a Haredi Jewish Woman Teaching Oral Sex in Israel
TEL AVIV - Rachel Yakobov, the name of this Israeli woman from the Haredi Jewish community. She and her husband, David Yakobov, founded "The Oneg Academy (Academy of Pleasure)", a school in the Jewish state that teaches students about sexual activities.
Not only founded, Rachel also teaches oral sex at the school. The school was founded a year ago.
Her story of establishing such a school began when she and her husband went to Moscow, Russia, in 2013.
It was a sunny autumn evening in Moscow, when Rachel's husband; David Yakobov, returning home, excitedly waved a flyer advertising "sex school".
Rachel's first reaction is to take offense at David's proposition, but she finally decides to enroll in the class, which will ultimately change her life for the better.
"When David and I moved to Russia in 2013, I suddenly realized how attractive and super sexual the women there are," Rachel said, as quoted by Ynet, Thursday (14/1/2021).
"As the wife of an entrepreneur, I understand that business and attractive women often go hand in hand. I was a little intimidated, but that's when I told myself that I should learn from the best."
According to Rachel, her decision was motivated not by distrust of David, but by a desire to enrich herself and take advantage of the opportunity.
"I decided to learn all the tricks from this amazing woman, and that's when I fell in love with sexual education, which as a religious woman no one ever talks about with me," Rachel said.
“I learned that in terms of sexuality, we often get stuck. We may learn new tricks here and there, but we never really learn anything new. This gave me the opportunity to really enrich myself, ”he said.
As for David, Rachel said, then also decided to also attend class. "David specially enrolled in a class on oral sex ... We both wanted to learn, so we studied together, before finally putting everything we learned into practice."
A year ago, Rachel, David and their two sons returned to Israel, where she opened "The Oneg Academy", which translates as "Academy of Pleasure". At the academy, which is reserved for women only, he teaches his students about the pleasures of oral sex and sex toys, while serving soft drinks and snacks.
"My approach is always important to learn new things, plus very practical," said Rachel. "My ultimate goal is to maximize women's enjoyment ... Women's empowerment in Judaism is very lackluster, one way to improve it is through sexuality, I'm sure."
In her class, Rachel said she teaches women aged 28-50 years, from both the secular and the religious sectors.
"In my oral workshop for example, I talked about the philosophy behind action, how it gives men a feeling of dominance and helps them relax because they don't really have to appear ... After that, we come to the practical part where every woman practices fellatio using a dildo, condom and some lubricant, "explains Rachel.
The idea of Haredi women wearing wigs and observing the Shabbat while teaching sex classes may be taken for granted to many, including some in the conservative Haredi community.
"Let them say what they want, I help people bring pleasure. Sexuality is a sacred thing that helps, repairs and heals. And while I understand that there are things that should remain unsaid, in mainstream Judaism there is a surprising lack of understanding. about sexuality, "he explained.
While Rachel has decided to break social boundaries for the advancement of women everywhere, she continues on her journey to better herself, her life at home and her sexual life with David.
"I am now studying Ashtanga yoga with a spiritual trainer who has become a real friend ... It is a way of living like Christianity and Judaism," Rachel said.
"The idea is to harness one's sexual energy to communicate with the universe, with God, that is how connected Judaism is to me, because the essence of Judaism is to give meaning and see holiness in everything we do."
"We practice a number of yoga positions while focusing on specific chakras to harness our sexual energy for good," he explained. "Maybe in the future I will start my own workshop."
